The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center), offers key strategic and technical support to Department of Defense and other government agencies.

The Center provides engineering, technical and acquisition program support across all phases of a program’s lifecyle—through design, prototyping, and experimentation, to full-service CB testing, to fielding, training and sustainment.

DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center deploys nearly 200 systems engineers and acquisition program specialists in direct support of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO CBD) and its Joint Program Managers, as well as U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE), U.S. Army Chemical Materials Activity (CMA) and other partners.

In addition, DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center serves as the Engineering Support Activity (ESA) for all U.S. Army TACOM-managed CB defense equipment.
